This Privacy Policy explains, in simple terms, how Makochera Enterprise handles your information when you use Ntare Gift Shop (including the E-Ntare mobile app and our website at ntare.vercel.app).
We keep things as transparent as possible: we only collect what we need to run the service, and we never sell your personal data.
By using the platform, you agree to this policy. If you don’t agree with it, you should stop using the service.
1. What we collect
We only collect information that helps us run the platform:
Account details
When you sign up, we collect your name, email, and password. Your password is securely encrypted and never visible to us.
Orders, donations, and payments
When you make a purchase or donation, we collect the details needed to process it (such as amount, currency, and mobile money number). If you choose, you may also provide your name, email, or address.
Payments are handled by Pesapal, so your sensitive payment details (like PINs or card numbers) never touch our systems. We only receive a confirmation of whether a payment was successful or not.
Content you share
If you post products, campaigns, or messages, we store the content you submit. Images are securely stored using Cloudinary.
Basic usage data
We automatically collect basic technical data like device type, IP address, and pages visited. This helps us improve performance and security.

- Set up and manage your account
- Process orders, donations, and payments
- Show your listings and content to other users
- Respond to support requests
- Keep the platform secure and prevent abuse

- Pesapal – payment processing
- Cloudinary – image storage
- MongoDB Atlas – database storage
- Vercel – hosting and deployment
We may also share data if required by law or to protect users and the platform.
4. How long we keep data
We keep your data only as long as you use the platform or as long as we need it for legal, tax, or accounting purposes. After that, we delete or anonymize it.
5. Security
We take security seriously. Passwords are encrypted, traffic is protected with HTTPS, and sensitive payments are handled by trusted providers. While we work hard to protect your data, no system is 100% secure.
6. Your control over your data
You can:
- View and update your account information
- Request a copy of your data
- Ask us to correct incorrect information
- Choose to stay anonymous when donating
7. Account deletion
You can request deletion of your account anytime by emailing makocheraenterprize@gmail.com. We’ll remove your data unless we are legally required to keep certain records (like completed transactions).
8. Children’s privacy
This service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data. If we find out that a child has provided personal information, we remove it immediately.
9. Third-party services
Sometimes you’ll be redirected to third-party services (like Pesapal during checkout). Their privacy policies apply to their platforms, so we recommend reviewing them separately.

We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above. If changes are important, we’ll try to notify you through the platform.
